i would recommend Dr. Portwood to anyone having the need for an orthopedic surgeon. I had tendinitis in my shoulder and I suffered for a long time before my general doctor referred me to Dr. Portwood. Immediately, he gave me a shot and I felt no pan for the first time in more than 2 years! I had to have a couple more over the next couple of years but I've been virtually pain free for many years now. He is kind and caring. He explained every part of the process. The only problem with the whole process is, I wish I'd gone to him sooner!
If anyone has carpol tunnel or just pain in the hands from repetative movement instead of surgery everyone is so quick to recieve stop and ask for the cortisone shot!! The down time is a couple days instead of weeks and it works!! I can finally braid my daughters hair without them falling asleep. Thanks dr.portwood u r very helpful and so nice keep up the great work!! Staff as well!
Dr. Portwood is the best in his field as a surgeon and then dr. Portwood aftercare what started the healing process is wonderful he has an excellent way of explaining detail which makes you feel much better about your choice my advice recommendation is to choose doctor dr. Portwood for all his expertise
