  Next Gen Flight Academy is a spot I will always recommend!! My kids and I show up to the Riverside location this afternoom. As soon as we got there we were instantly greeted. Brandon was very honest about our flight as soon as we walked in. He let us know that the "DEMO FLIGHT" we booked to see the HOLLYWOOD SIGN this evening will mostly be turbulent. He asked us if we would like to reschedule or keep our reservation. I looked at the kids, they looked at me and without hesitation said we still want to go!! I domt think anything was going to stop us from this experience. At first my kids are fighting over who was going to be in the front of the plane during the flight. The only way to be fair and hanfle any dispute is rock, paper, scissors!! My son ended up winning and took Front seat in the plane. Now if you look at one of the pictures below you'll see the number 1655. If you go to their Facebook page NextGen Flight Academy in Riverside California and like their page, instantly that number goes up!! I tested the theory and watched right as I hit like on Facebook the numbers change! Never seen anything like it, it was really cool! We all got headsets and we're guided out to the plane. Safety is number one priority at NextGen! As we were plugging in our headsets and getting our seatbelts on our instructor was checking the entire plane to make sure that it was safe to be able to fly. And as soon as we got ready to start our "DEMO FLIGHT" our instructor asked my son if he would like to fly the plane! My son's eyes practically bulged out of his head and he looked a little nervous. He listened very carefully and caught on real quick. My son actually was able to participate in the lift off of the plane. My son was flying!! When we were flying out there our instructor let us know we were flying at 105 mph. My daughter seemed to see every single swimming pool from Riverside all the way out to Hollywood! We flew right over Beverly Hills and seen how massive those mansions and houses were. It was awsome! The flight lasted a little over an hour round trip. And our instructor let us know that we were flying 120 mph on our way back. It was an overall really great experience. I'm definitely doing another "DEMO FLIGHT" to Catalina Island next time!!!

  Great flight school and plane rental facility.
  
  Feels like family here, I first found this place about 3 years ago after doing a lot of research on all of the options in the inland empire(there were quite a few to sort through). And they came out on top. Even recommended by another school at the same airport, when the other school said they were completely booked up.
  
  They have a good solid fleet of aircraft, high and low wing, complex, tail wheel and even multi engine Just about the only things they don’t have (as of March 2021) are jets, rotary wing and seaplane.
  
  They have a large number of available instructors at CFI, CFII, and MEI.
  
  They’re super friendly and accommodating.
  
  One of my favorite parts is how much they put emphasis on taking care of their customers. If you’re a good customer, they’ll reciprocate.
  
  If you’re a student, and have. A checkride coming up, some places will try and “squeeze in” as much flying time for everyone as they can, to try and maximize profits on the plane, but Nextgen realizes the importance of that checkride, they’ll book the plane for you for the whole day, and clear schedules the week before whenever you need to make sure that you are truly ready to take that test AND PASS IT.

  I set up a flight experience for my dad, who back in the day, had his pilots license....I thought it would be a fun experience to celebrate his retirement. Brandon, the head instructor, recommended flying over Catalina island. He explained everything and made us both feel very comfortable. He treated my dad like family, gave him a tour of the facility, and made sure he was happy during the flight. My dad had the best experience ever and has sent over a ton of beautiful pictures! I’m definitely going to be sending my dad back for Father’s Day or another holiday! Thank you Brandon for making this seamless and so exciting! We will be lifelong customers!
