Beautiful. Has a bridge that crosses between the end of Arden and into Rancho Cordova. Great fishing spots, gorgeous views and plenty of wildlife such as birds, geeze, ducks, and more.

I live very close to this park and I go there twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening I have a dog that loves it there so we go so we get out and relax park is beautiful I absolutely love it there so relaxing
But I have one issue with it there are a bunch of people who don't respect the park at all they come in large groups and leave there trash all over the place they have absolutely no respect for the park at all
All the park rangers are worried about is u better make sure you pay the park entrance fee other then that they don't care about the mess people make the group of people don't watch there kids they go pee we're ever there standing when the bathroom is rite there and they let there little boys go inside the girls bathroom it's totally unexcusable my wife had to ask the boys to get out so she can go to the restroom and they told her to shut up parks and recreation need to do something about it

It’s a nice park to picnic and walk the trails down to the water. If you have little ones like I do it’s important to look out for the bikes on the trail they go really fast and wouldn’t be able to stop easily.

Love. Love. Love. This park. It’s probably one of the few parks in Sacramento along the American river I feel decently safe bringing family to. It’s beautiful and has great walk run trails. Be careful for people on bikes though. They’re sometimes as bad as our drivers lol.
