This is mt first time working with RA Comics Direct.
RA Comics Direct did such an amazing job on my latest comic book project, issue 2 of the Bubba Patrol. The distressed newsprint makes the artwork seems color richer and their array of cover/paper stock allows for some interesting possibilities. I went with a thin gloss stock that is .004mm thick. It gives the comic a professional presentation. I had one point person guide me through the printing and proof process, making the whole experience smooth and easier than I had hoped. The end product is phenomenal and makes me extremely glad I chose to go with RA for this extremely personal and important project.
I really appreciate these folks. The team at RA is super responsive. I'm a self-publishing artist, and prepping files for print is definitely one of my blind spots, but they are always very patient in working with me until I figure it out and get the files right. I tend to work with a lot of bright colors and I'm always pleased with how they come out in the final product. Thanks Jim, Desiree, Anne, and the rest of the team!

I have used both RA Comics direct and their aged newsprint! I love RA comics - they're really speedy and they were willing to match Kablam's pricing on my books. The aged newsprint is kind of darker than I wanted, so I ended up going with the Recycled Paper of the Month.
