Costco Gas Station

I really am considering a quicker place to order and eat my hot dogs. My boss is complaining I don't get back from lunch soon enough.

I really enjoy the traditional Costco Hot Dog. The problem it the time.

First, I have to select a bag of onions, a 3 knife set and a cutting board. I then pay for these while ordering my Hot Dog and soda. (I actually get the raspberry tea.) The wait for the Hot Dog is quick. I unpackage the knife set and cutting board with my letherman from a previous visit that I keep with me, because you can't open anything from Costco without one. By then my Hot Dog is at the counter. I get my drink, napkins and condiments- ketchup, mustard and pickle relish but not the chopped onions. The chopped onions are DIY. I peal one onion and proceed to chop with the handy ceramic knife. I use the large one. Then I load my Hot Dog with beautiful fresh chopped onions and relax to have a nice lunch.

After a frugal lunch that will provide me with belching reminders until dinner, I repackage the knives and cutting board as best as I can. The deciding factor on whether I can make it back to work on time is the return line. Some times it can be a bit of a wait to get to the return register. I tell them the onion bag has a hole in it, the cutting board is plastic and holds the onion oder unlike wood, and the knives are the wrong color.

Even with all that you just can't beat $1.59.

Depending upon the time of the day, there can be some really long lines here. The price is usually the cheapest in the area but not always. I do feel they offer a real top tier gasoline as my car seems to get better mileage and runs smoother when I fill up there. I seek out Costco gas stations, and will even plan my route, to a small degree, around where they are located. If you have a Costco membership you should definitely be using their gasoline service stations. Plus 5% cash back if you use their credit card.

Costco is always has the lowest gas prices in town. It is generally quick to fill the gas tank, but rush hour can take a few minutes longer in queue.

The pump stations are well maintained and there are attendants on hand to help with any issues.

There are no cleaning tools for windows which would be a convenience.

We almost exclusively now get gas at Costco. Even when the lines are long, it still moves fairly quickly. Station is always clean and tidy.

Prices can’t be beat for top tier gas. The price is usually penny for penny with sub par arco and is much rather make the trip to Costco. I’m here shopping so much as it is that I just get gas while I’m here.

If you come and 7am or 7pm, there is usually no line at all.
