Stopped by for a quick lunch and they sure were quick and efficient. ordering was a breeze and the food was ready in no time. Highly recommend the Dosa. Had a buttermilk to wash it down. Great taste and good quality.
My friends were raving about the filter coffee.
Definitely on my list to try other things on the menu the next time i am in the area
The best Indian food that I ever had. We had a best experience in this cuisine and now I know where I am going to eat when I come to Folsom. I wish this cuisine was close by my city. Highly recommend to visit this place if you like Indian food, you won’t be disappointed.
Mylapore is a south Indian vegetarian restaurant in Folsom. It has lots of south Indian breakfast, snack, lunch and dinner options. We ordered uttapam, kothu paratha and pongal. I really didn’t expect the taste to be so amazing, just fell in love with the food. From the food itself to sides like chutneys, sambar taste was on point, hygienic and awesome. Variety of beverages like chai, coffee, lassi, rose milk are available. For dine-in currently they are giving togo boxes with disposables and sitting area in the restaurant. Even the washrooms are very neat and well-maintained. Also, there are Lots of frozen homely curries buy1 get1 and sweets which are being sold. We got gajar halwa to try. Do not miss this place if you love South Indian taste. Can’t wait to come back and try out other dishes. Thanks for running an amazing restaurant. Keep up the good taste 🤩
My wife and I were craving dosa & found this on google so stopped by. Few pros and cons of my visit.
Pro- the food was good & tasty.
Cons- they were only doing “take out” but you can eat on any open table. The restaurant was full & plenty of staff walking around.
But the experience of this method was not good. You have to get your own water from self serve area, you have to clean the table yourself as they were dirty.
A lot of plastic goes to waste as they package everything up in takeout manner even if you’re eating onsite.
Also the dosa all comes unprepared. All stuffings etc are packaged separately so you’re basically assembling your own dosa which I wasn’t fond of as everything is prepackaged & not “fresh/warm”.
I will definitely come back in future to give it another shot and hope to be able to give them a 5 star. This visit was probably a 3.5 but I have a 4 as the food was good.
