The Rancho Market on Stockton Blvd (not actually in Elmhurst, I know) and the store on 48th we all knew as Hiram's are both gone. I remember going to Cottage Market (as we knew it then, when tying an onion to one's belt was the style...) for bubble gum or candy bars. It was nice having these little neighborhood stores to go to.

(October 7, 2014, 5:48 pm)Awesome spot. Eugene, the owner and his wife are very welcoming and friendly. Great food. Sweet little location and a shaded private/secluded area to eat and relax right there attached to the location. Have to make it a habit ?
