Kimbro's Appliance Service & Sales

Big Bear is a mountain community and it's hard sometime to find available service. I've had appliance problems every 10 yrs or so & was lucky enough to have local recommend Kimbro for repairs 30 yrs ago. They are knowledgeable, efficient & reasonably priced. And they can be there fast for emergencies. Jot the number down & put it near your phone!

I called Big Bear Appliance when I had an issue with my washing machine not draining. They were able to make a service call within the week, while Kimbro was 3 weeks out. Mike was very friendly on the phone, I gave him the door code for our cabin so they could check on the machine. They were at the cabin for 2-3 mins total. I called the next day to ask what the problem was, and Mike told me we needed to order a part which cost over $300. I didn't have any other options, so I agreed and he told me he would contact me when the part came in. I waited 2 weeks and called back asking about the part. He told me he would check and give me a call. I never heard from him. In the meantime, I had still kept my original appt with Kimbro, and they came for their service call. They spent about an hour at the cabin. When I called the next day, they informed me a hairpin had been stuck in the pump, not allowing the machine to drain, and that it was now working. Don't waste your time with the other guys, I will always call Kimbro's from now on!
