It's fun
This may be a bias review, but I’ve had the privilege to have the experience to see MusicAlley as both a customer and an employee. I would like to start off by saying that the Owner, Reiko, is not only a hard-working Business Woman, she is a thoughtful, caring, and kind-hearted Person and Teacher. She really cares for all the students and parents at MusicAlley. Everyone has different personal situations and Reiko really tries to understand everyone’s lifestyles. Whether a student is unable to find a ride to their lesson, is sick, got their days mixed up, is financially unstable, may have to be at dad’s house instead of mom’s house that week, or lost a loved one, Reiko really tries to make their lesson work out. I began working at MusicAlley as a Front Desk Administrator and learned how Reiko handles people’s situations with understanding and to treat customers as human-beings, not as another number on the list. I have worked for other music schools and businesses who will not go above and beyond to change a days schedule and even the date of a recital for a student who’s situation does not work out. Everyone has their bad days, and Reiko makes sure to consider a situation to make a reasonable decision. To individually get to know every student (including other teacher’s students), over-see and manage front desk, teach, and prepare lessons outside of lessons, while keeping good communication amongst Teachers, Front Desk, Parents and Students for over 15 years including the Pandemic, is the ultimate success of any business especially a music school. At a reasonable price, MusicAlley not only provides individual personalized music lessons for each student, they also provide group activities such as Dance, Band, Arts and Crafts, Acting, and the opportunity to use these skills in the real world. As a teacher, I’ve had the honor to have some of my voice students perform at talent shows, audition for community musicals, and sing the National Anthem at baseball games. It fills my heart to see student’s succeed after dedicating so much time and hard-work, and I am appreciative of the opportunity MusicAlley has provided me.
I wanted to put my 4 year old son Tommy in piano but thought he might be too young and too active to focus. Boy was I wrong! Ms. Reiko is the most amazing piano teacher! She is sweet and kind and really great with kids. After only 3 or 4 lessons my son learned to play 2 songs. And did I mention my son rarely sits for anything for 30 minutes? He enjoys his piano lessons and time with Ms. Reiko. I believe it has actually calmed him down a bit and given him the ability to focus. Everybody there is so friendly. Theresa at the front desk is really great too. She sends reminders and keeps us in the loop. Music Alley is such a wonderful place. I am so thankful that Tommy is a part of something so amazing!
I been taking my daughter here for singing lessons for about 3 years now....she loves it and Mrs. Andrea is a great teacher
