Sunrise at Alta Loma

Sunrise feels like home. From caring and loving staff that feels like family to comfortable rooms and gathering areas to homestyle food and fun activities to suit all levels of need. Sunrise of Alta Loma should definitely be a consideration when looking for housing for a loved one.

I cannot tell you how grateful I have been to Sunrise of Alta Loma for taking care of my parents. I moved my parents in after my Dad fell about 3 years ago and they could no longer live alone in their home (Dad was 96 and Mom was 92 at the time). Dad required a lot of assistance initially, but gradually improved. Unfortunately that did not last, but regardless of his condition, the staff was always there to support. Mom is still there and has been healthy throughout this whole pandemic. The community is in constant contact with me regarding any issues, or just to update. I do not know what I would have done without them during this time. When I could go in to visit it was always cheerful greetings as if we were all family. Now that visits are restricted, I still know that Mom is attended to and taken care of. Many thanks to Sunrise, and ALL the employees for making this separation easier to bear.

I am very impressed with the Alta Loma community. The overall facility is well maintained and the all the staff are caring and welcoming. The Alta Loma team goes above and beyond to care for my grandfather and make him comfortable. I am very blessed to have the Alta Loma team to rely on and I am very grateful.

We are a Sunrise generational family: my granny was at Sunrise Alta Loma in the late 1990s, my granny in-law was also there in the late 1990s, and both of them loved the TLC, attentiveness by the staff, the fact that Sunrise has “house” pets for the residents to enjoy, and many fun activities that include both Sunrise residents and their families. Naturally, when it was time for my mother in-law to move into a senior neighborhood two years ago, Sunrise Alta Loma was the obvious choice. Although the staff and residents have changed since my granny was there, the high level of attentiveness, TLC and beauty of the facility have not changed. Moreover, the move from the general resident apartment into the memory neighborhood was necessary during the novel covid 19 pandemic. Due to quarantine restrictions, our family could not assist with the pack and move of my mother in-law into the memory neighborhood. The Sunrise staff handled it all and their warm reassurances to her made the transition nearly seamless. Thank you, Sunrise staff for all you’ve done and continue to do. Keep up the good (and tireless) work!

Love this place. Everyone that works here takes the time to remember your name. Always have a smile for you. You can have your own car here if you want. They do have transportation if you need it. A wonderful place to live.
