Olivedale Park

Baseball field is awesom. A few homeless but they mean no harm.

Clean, the play ground could use some fixing, a couple spots are very corroded, and graffitied, and I am glad I took my child's potter potty because by the restrooms there were a few homeless men and I didnt feel comfortable taking all 4 of my kids to the restroom. Other than that this park is perfect. I wasn't bothered, there were other families there playing or just walking their dogs all in all very nice.

So I visited this park for the first time last week with my niece and nephew. We had lunch and they played on the playset and really had a good time. All of the park here in Upland is it good Park and I really appreciate the fact that it's maintained and not dirty which makes it very appropriate for a good visit with your family and children. However one thing that I did notice that I didn't really think was appropriate was a lot of transients. Now I respect and understand that people do go through a hard time don't always have a place to go but I feel like this park where children play isn't that place to go. No we did disturb us or ask for anything but like I said I felt like his inappropriate especially when the stripped in there. I do feel like whoever is responsible for maintaining his Park should really address this issue but as far as the rest of the part goes I like it and I will visit again. There was picnic tables restrooms and plenty of shade which is always a good thing at a park especially during the summer. I definitely recommend this place for a family outing or children play time but do not leave your children unattended.

Nice play structure; might be hot in the summer. Has baby and big kid swings. Nice table area. Bathrooms were gross, at least on the female side: door was busted and neither opened fully nor shut. No toilet paper on a Saturday.

Great local park. Lii ts of foot traffic from baseball field. Lots of green open space, decent playground equipment. Wish there was a walking track but I just circle the playground instead.
