Gaskill Brothers Stone Store Museum

I work in the archives dept and at the museum on the weekend. It has a lot of history in Campo and the back country. This weekend is Campo Days you can enjoy seeing horse back races, food, and different sites of were the Buffalo Soldiers were station during the War. Come join us you will have a great time.

Great piece of history here. Nice place to stop and enjoy the story of the old store.

Cute little museum and if you are a history buff, totally your jam. Definely not a kid place but a grown-up place. Many old pictures and information of the settling of California. The main part is the original building when it first was a store. Perfect short pit stop if looking at the mountains in southern California.

Nice little store. There are 2 stories, you need to take the stairs outside to get to the second store. There are plenty of historical books inside the store. There was even a 'cold room' that seems like it was built inside the hillside to store food. The second floor has military history of the area, including buffalo soldiers and the battle of San Pasqual during the Mexican American war.
