French Corner @ Carlsbad Village

This is such a cute little cafe! Lots of seating and seems to be very popular. Definitely has a real feel of Paris and is very cutely decorated. The food all looks so good! Lots of pastries and crepes and plenty of other goodies to try. The hot coffee is very strong and flavorful. Really nice people too.

Enjoyed this little touch of Paris in Carlsbad, CA. We had coffee and a delicious tart! Be sure to check their hours…we got there just 30 mins before closing. Their food looked tasty though we didn’t try anything.

Consistent quality with a short wait is a winning combination. My one issue is that they don’t do iced coffees well (ice melts and it’s watered down coffee) but their hot coffees are delicious though. I like their quiches, crepes and sandwiches. Outdoor seating (most of it is shaded) is ideal for bringing your dog. Street parking is available.

We stopped here by accident today, and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a cute little coffee shop on the corner. It was such a nice warm day and decided to sit outside. There was a wide variety of things to order, but we opted for a breakfast croissant (egg and ham) and breakfast sandwich (on a baguette), as well as cappuccino’s. You have to order inside, they give you a number and you choose your seat. The servers were friendly. We didn’t have to wait too long. Was a nice surprise stop on our motorcycle drive today. My husband is French-born, so it was nice to see a French menu.

🍞: I ordered the Le Jambon and it was delicious. The baguette was so fresh and it was perfect in the most simplistic way.
🥂: I paired it with a glass of white wine and it was a perfect compliment to the meal.
🧍‍♀️: the women taking the orders was so kind and patient with all the customers. Excellent customer service!
🌎: Highly recommend if you want to be taken back to a Parisian cafe on the bustling streets of Paris.
