Dan Metevier, Psy.D.

I have been seeing Dr. Dan for a few years now and he is the most gifted therapist I have ever worked with. He genuinely cares and his methods are not “monotonous”.

In 20/20 hindsight I wish that Dan was the first therapist my wife and I saw when we moved down to the Oceanside area. He nailed the fact that my wife and I were stuck in an enabler/co-dependent relationship. Perhaps his next step would have been to have us both come in with our lists of chores and then divide the chores evenly. If that was the path my wife and I would still be together today.

I have not participated in any therapy for many many years. I have a ton going on in my business and personal life and it just felt like it was time to speak with someone, but I could not for the life of me find someone who I wanted to work with. One meeting with Dan and I knew he was the right fit for me. I love his sense of humor and that he is direct and doesn't just try to appease me. His style is exactly what I was looking for! Highly recommend!

Dr. Dan Metevier is a very unique therapist. His approach to therapy is so different than I have ever experienced, and there have a few. His sincerity and compassionate heart blows me away sometimes.
