This Shell station does fantastic mechanical wrk and at very reasonable pricing. I just had them in August check air conditioning in our 2013 Nissan Altima. They charged and had it cooling after that. Lo and behold the aircon crashed once again while we were traveling to San Fran.
Took me a month plus to get the car back to them and for their further evaluation showed the compressor to be the villain. Two days later the car was as good as new and cooling as quickly and as well as anyone could as.
Price: minus the amount I’d payed the first visit (which they deducted from this bill) I paid less than half of what my dealer quoted me!!!
These folks have done work for me before and I was just as satisfied! They care about the job they do for you and are always there if you need further help.
The mechanics are knowledgeable and I would trust them to fix any mechanical or safety issue any time!!!!

I'm pretty stunned at these reviews, many of which don't even seem to describe this actual station. I've lived in this neighborhood for decades and this station has had a very nice longtime owner and longtime employees who are very trustworthy mechanics. One reviewer, Brian Neeves, wrote that there are no other mechanic shops in the area which is absolutely false; there is the 76 station 2 blocks away, and Pep Boys a little east on H Street, and mechanics down the hill in Bonita, so to claim that this station is taking advantage of being the only mechanic around is just false! If you think their prices are high, you do have several options close by.
Some reviewer named Valin Kattoula wrote that this station was "dangerous going in and out", and I have to assume Valin meant traffic-wise, because this is not a "dangerous" neighborhood in the least! Actually, this station is quite convenient getting in and out, so perhaps Valin is not an experienced driver? This station is not brand new, but neither is it "dirty", and why would it have a vacuum for your car? It's not a car wash! Valin suggests that a cheaper place is across the street, so now I know that he is reviewing the wrong station, because there isn't, (and never has been), a Mobil station across the street.
