I had a nasty swarm of bees that invaded my roof eave. It worried me with having kids around as well as the effect it could have on my roof system. My building had a beautiful, but active, beehive that would seem to come and go for a few years, but since it was right outside a large, sliding balcony window of my 2nd-floor apartment, the bees eventually became problematic. I'd frequently leave my balcony and other windows open, and the bees would come in and fly out as they pleased, which was fine, except it just got to be too many. Mark's BeeMan removal service was a perfect solution, because we really wanted to preserve the hive community and to at least try to safely relocate them to somewhere better! Mark's assessment and work on the hive was really interesting to observe and learn about, and he worked quickly and professionally to take down the hive. Mark also cleaned the area near the roof where the hive had been, so that the bees wouldn't immediately try to re-build their colony in the same old spot. It's been several months, and we haven't seen any new activity around our roof, and we're glad to think that our group of bees are set up somewhere else, safely doing their thing without getting trapped in our apartment! Overall, we had a great experience with Mark and his "BeeMan" service, and would call him again in a heartbeat, if any new bees set up shop at our building.
