San Dieguito County Park - Lower

This is a beautiful park. Nice green areas and roads. Clean bathrooms and areas with picnic tables.

I'm a long time fan of San Dieguito Park because my drum circle meets there the first Saturday afternoon of every month. The park is a beautifully maintained swath off rolling green hills, majestic eucalyptus trees, picnic sites, and public restrooms. The picnic sites have study metal tables, barbecues, trash and recycle cans. There's an new small butterfly garden, and established small duck pond with fountains. The rangers are friendly and sometimes bring near animals over for us to enjoy - a giant lizard or Crawly, the old lady tarantula. The upper Park I hear has kids playgrounds, but I haven't been up there. My brother said there hikes were lovely. Parking $3. You will have a lovely managed-nature day outdoors here.

Excellent park, with lots of trees, grass, grills, tables and benches. Parking is $3, but there is parking available outside as well. It's a really fun park.

Huge, beautiful park. Perfect place to do my photography practice. Plenty of picnic tables and areas to have get-togethers.

Love this place. It has so much to offer to kids and elderly. Very nicely maintained.
