  Just a few months ago I was feeling so worn down I could barely get out of bed. I'd been getting worse and worse over the past year and finally I knew that I had to do something. I had thyroid issues in the past but my blood tests were "normal." I was told by my endocrinologist that I should take thyroid hormone to help reduce my enlarged thyroid but didn't know if that would actually help all my symptoms of extreme fatigue, dry hair and skin, constipation and depression. I felt Western medicine was failing me by not offering me more things I could do to feel better and what was worse, I feared that this was my new normal.
  
  I happened upon Dr. Labbe online and am so glad I did! She helped me pinpoint the areas in my diet and lifestyle that were contributing to my problem. I went to her clinic from Aug 2013 to Nov 2013 and received treatments based on a functional medicine approach that used neurological research and also nutritional changes to transform my fatigue into a thing of the past. There were about four different treatments in rotation including cold laser therapy that I went for weekly. As I did these changes I also made changes in my diet and added nutritional supplements into my daily life. It was hard at first, but so worth it. I was glad that there was something I could do for myself rather than just take a pill and hope I didn't get worse.
  
  Over those four months I slowly and steadily improved to the point where I am at a good level of energy and know what I need to do to continue to stay healthy and without the horrible symptoms I was feeling. I still watch my diet and am on a few supplements but am so grateful I have a handle on my thyroid condition.
  
  Dr. Labbe is such a kind and genuine lady. She is so good about explaining things in terms the lay person can understand and does what it takes to get to the root of the problems you are having. I felt so well cared for during my time there. She has so much knowledge in her back pocket and knows what tests you need to pinpoint what is and isn't working to modify your therapy as time goes on. Her staff is amazing and so, so nice. Darlene is a gem!
  
  Please note that insurance won't cover this treatment and I had to pay out of pocket. I was hesitant at first to commit financially to the treatment but I don't regret a single cent. Dr. Labbe's therapies really worked for me and now that I have my health back, I realize how priceless it is. It was so worth the money because I invested in my health and it paid off and continues to. I just want people out there to know that there are other ways to treat illness and that you can get fantastic results. I did.

  I visited Dr. Labbe today and I couldn't be happier with my choice. It has recently been brought to my attention that I may have thyroid issues and I thought that I should learn more about it. I've been researching a lot about this condition and it causes me to become tired, gain more weight than usual, more hormonal, and other serious issues. Let's just say it was definitely time to hear from a professional about this. I was referred to Dr. Labbe by a friend and she was wonderful. The front desk was very welcoming and I didn't have to wait anymore than a few minutes to see the doctor. I was terrified that the lab work was going to be very expensive and it was surprisingly inexpensive! What a relief! Although I have only had a consultation with Dr. Labbe, I am confident she has the knowledge to treat me properly. She follows Kharrazian and he is who I've been researching since I've discovered my possible thyroid issues. It is difficult to find a good health provider that actually cares about their patients. I'm excited to be working with Dr. Labbe and to see her on my follow up appointment.
