  I had the pleasure of doing a ride along with "Pilot Tex" who was exceptional in every way! Our flight was smooth, adventurous and he will push things as far as you ask him to; I encourage you to test your own boundaries! His narration was both informative and amusing but I should also note that I felt completely at ease and safe throughout the experience. I would encourage all who commit to strongly consider doubling the flight time which comes at a reasonable cost relative to the experience; sadly I only found out about this option upon our return. The Air Combat Experience was one of the highlights of our visit our visit to San Diego and I encourage all who are considering this to pull the trigger!
  
  I will add that I use a wheelchair which Tex was more than happy to accommodate and my impressions were that he will go out of his way to support and accommodate all who come to fly with him. Wheels up to Tex!

  Time of my life! we started off flying out over the beaches, around Point Loma, and over the San Diego harbor. Incredible scenery!
  I had the Top Gun flight which meant I was able to fly the plane. We went and cranked out some barrel rolls, hammerheads, tail slides, spins, and finished the trip with a low-level bombing run.
  Amazing experience and excellent staff at Sky Combat Ace. Thank you, Peter and Tiffany, for an unforgettable day!

  Not only did I get the opportunity to go up and experience acrobatics, I got to fly!!!!! My pilot was Diesel and he was beyond awesome! He was very thorough in explaining the details of what we were going to do up in the air but also very fun and made me feel at ease. Great guy and a great company!!!!! YOU NEED TO DO THIS!!!!!

  I like roller coasters and other thrill rides but I do not care for rides that spin so prior to my flight I was a little nervous about getting airsick. In preparation, I ate a light breakfast, ginger tea and had a motion sickness pill. After arriving at the facility, we were given a debriefing on the aircraft, safety measures and the range of stunts that we were about to experience. Then it was time to fly and I hopped in the plane around 12pm.
  
  The takeoff was exhilarating! Flying alongside my two friends in the air and talking to them over the intercom was so incredible it was almost like I was dreaming! After watching my buddy do a barrel roll up over our aircraft my pilot, Smokey, told me it was our turn. We did the barrel roll and the loop and I even got to fly the plane myself before my stomach started to feel upset. I let my pilot know and he was happy to take it easy.
  
  Unfortunately all my careful preparation did not help as I did end up having to use the airsick bag. All was not lost though as I had a front row seat to watch my friends perform their crazy acrobatic maneuvers and then some air to air combat! It is amazing to see what those planes can do in the air!
  
  This was unlike any ride I have ever been on and I tell everyone I can about how exciting it was to experience something like this. Even though I got queasy I would totally go again, that is how awesome it was! I got to fly an aerobatic plane!!!

  Sky Combat Ace's Top Gun experience is Awesome! The pilots are all very professional and incredibly friendly. They made sure I was feeling comfortable all the way through and gave me all the instructions that I needed to be able to do a barrel roll and some other tricks on my own (they tell you how to do it, you take the stick and do it). The feel of ascending and descending was incredible. It really hits right in the stomach whether you're going up, down, left or right! My experience was great and it will definitely be an experience I remember for the rest of my life. Thanks SCA!' 10/10 would do again.
