The airplanes are well maintained and selection is very good, from basic trainer to advanced instrument aircraft. The airport community has a great "family" atmosphere, unlike bigger airports.

(November 1, 2018, 1:07 pm)I am a transitioning rotary wing military aviator to the airlines and have flown 175+ flight hours with Fallbrook Flight Academy within the last 5 months. The owners of Fallbrook Flight Academy, Greg and Lisa, run a top notch flight school. Greg is an outstanding Flight Instructor with over 27k career flight hours as a former DPE and Lufthansa pilot with a wealth of knowledge. Both Greg and Lisa treat you like family and are extremely military friendly. The Fallbrook Airpark is a great un-towered airfield that is not congested at all and is perfect for learning how to fly on. The Fallbrook Flight Academy is unlike the other flight schools in the SoCal area. They will make sure you're taken care of and that you meet your goals without milking you dry like other flight schools in the area. I can't say enough great things about them and plan on flying recreationally through them for as long as I can stay flying.
