  This was a perfect place to stay for our family . The property itself is very nice and clean. From the moment you open the front door, you realize you walking into the little Mermaid house :) It is very homie , warm and inviting. It has absolutely everything you need here , in case you forget it at home . It looks better in reality then in the pictures! Nancy made sure we had all information and tips for our stay. Any questions we had , she responded very quickly . We only wished we could stay longer...
  The name of the property “Serenity by the Sea “ really speaks for itself ..You could not describe it any better . We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to our friends.

  The moment you walk into the beach home you are taken with the beauty of the decor! Looking right out to the ocean! The patio ocean view is breathtaking.
  The owner has given attention to every detail inside and out.
  We loved it so much that is was a challenge to leave.
  We will go again in the future.

  My husband and I booked this condo to come visit our son who is stationed here, prior to his deployment. The condo was fabulous! Immaculately clean, updated and stocked with everything you could ever need. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms roomy and very nice. I used the kitchen to cook several meals including Easter dinner and it was well stocked with cookware, bakeware and utensils just like home. Since the condo is right on the beach, we enjoyed a wonderful ocean view from the patio...which housed very nice furniture for our use. I believe the condo has just recently been remodeled so everything was very nice, clean and new. Even though for these Texans the décor was not necessarily our style, it was beautifully done and very "beachy" :)
  On a personal note, the owner could not have been more accommodating. Her instructions were clear and she checked on us a couple of times. (We also exchanged a few photos). At the end of our stay, the condo was open for one more night and Nancy offered it to us if needed. As it turned out, we did need a place for one more night so this was perfect. I can't say enough about Nancy's hospitality and generosity during our stay. I hope our paths cross again.
  This is a MUST stay destination "home" away from home!

  This beach house has it all! Room for my whole family to sleep comfortably, a stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer and all the amenities of home. It is impeccably cared for and newly remodeled with a gorgeous new kitchen and bathrooms. But the highlight has to be the LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The spacious patio (ready with Adirondack chairs, plush chaise lounges and a large dining table) overlooks the beach and panoramic ocean views. Sunsets are spectacular. The beach is just a few steps away and there are sand toys, boogie boards, beach blankets, sun shades and mats all on hand for guests to use. The complex has a heated pool and hot tub that I've never seen busy and the landscaped courtyard has gas grills for the nights you decide to dine in. Imperial Beach is a quaint (but not pretentious) beach town with a nice balance of casual yet up-scale dining, family friendly cafes and restaurants and dive bars. It's a short walk to the pier, where you'll pass a cupcake bakery and locally-made ice creamery. The shell shop is also a favorite of my kids and we go get treasures every time we are in town. If you choose to explore beyond IB - and sometimes we never do - the location is just a short drive from Coronado and Downtown SD. I can't wait to go back. You will not be disappointed with your vacation at Serenity by the Sea.
