  What a lovely experience during covid times. Tiana was my cashier and seriously it was refreshing to go anywhere and be served by an upbeat person with a positive attitude. Chicken & Waffles was on point, juicy, savory and sweeeettt. Another positive note was that there were so many people both here and Coops West Texas BBQ - which speaks volumes about the food and service! This wasn’t my first visit, and after such a pleasant interaction I’ll continue to support this business.

  Excellent chicken strips! Crispy outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The best I've ever had. Can't beat fresh chicken fried to order. Owned by Coop, who also owns Coop's West Texas BBQ across the parking lot. So the excellent quality here is no surprise. My wife and I get orders from both restaurants whenever we are in Lemon Grove.
  The prices have increased, but the quality remains excellent.

  Besides getting our order wrong the chicken was good the fries are nothing special waffles are thin fried okra had no flavor. Would like to give it 3.5
