Amber Dahlberg Music Studio

I have learned so much taking an Aural Skills class with Amber. She is an excellent teacher and musician, and is patient as we learn new concepts, while still challenging us and helping us become better musicians. I'm very thankful to Amber for making this class a fun and educational experience. I highly recommend Amber's teaching any learner.

Besides being a talented performer, Amber is an excellent teacher who meets students where they are and helps them to set and achieve reasonable yet challenging personal goals! I took her beginner organ class in a group setting at the university level and was impressed with her ability to personally mentor and meet the needs of each student regardless of their background experience. She expects practice and preparation because she prepares so well herself to instruct and inspire. Her comprehensive class included lessons on technique, theory, practice methods, repertoire, and understanding the mechanics of the instrument. Amber's teaching methods help even her beginner students to master technique and feel comfortable asking questions!

Amber is an excellent teacher! She is very skilled at playing the organ/piano and you can tell that she is passionate about the subject. Amber is very patient with students and is able to quickly identify where/why problems are happening and help students fix them. I would definitely recommend taking music lessons from her!
