The Green Room Hotel

Absolutely loved our stay here. We could walk everywhere. Such a great vibe to this fully renovated boutique motel. The beach was a 10 minute walk, lots of bars with some fantastic sour beers and for the natural grocery fans there is one right across the street. Only one mile from Downtown Carlsbad. With the cruiser bike it was an easy breezy sunny ride.

My husband and I stayed for one night at The Green Room and absolutely LOVED our stay and everything about this cute, stylish, little boutique hotel.
From the moment we arrived it was a smooth check-in. Steven, the owner greeted us when we were relaxing in the super cute old-school style wooden hot tub (which we enjoyed three times during our less than 24 hours at the hotel!) and was super nice and helpful.
He even gave us a complementary early check-in.
We loved our stylish room and every detail was well thought out!
In the morning we grabbed our coffee and sat outside by the fire pit, great way to wake up!
We will be back to this cute hotel soon, with friends next time, as we are local to San Diego maybe even bring our pup along!

Wow what a place! Such a beautiful experience from start to finish, didn’t want to leave! From easy check-in, messages to ask if I needed anything, this was a great stay. I stayed for a solo trip, and extended my stay as long as I could.
Beautiful room, cozy but definitely enough room for single or couple. The interior is well thought out, with very groovy interior design. Couldn’t believe the affordable price.
Awesome facilities. Made great use of the cedar hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor seating. Didn’t get a chance to use the quiver of surfboards which are conveniently provided too.
Great spot. Easy walk to the beach (I went for every sunset), cafes and shops.

Love The Green Room! The rooms are super clean and comfortable. Stayed in a queen room that was spacious and had a great little outdoor space with an umbrella and also a king room with a super comfy bed. Decor is modern / groovy Scandinavian vibes with a little rock and roll flair. Great common area and hot tub for the cooler nights feels like a mini-resort with tasteful music curation in the afternoons, great place to work and have lunch from the awesome health food store across the street. Awesome craft coffee shops less than 5 minutes walk. Hotel owners are attentive and super helpful. Awesome find and super unique for the area. Will definitely be back!

My partner and I had the most relaxing and fun stay! The rooms are great and the bed is so comfortable and the tiny kitchen was too cute for words. I loved that we could check ourselves in and enjoyed the private little patio and loved that there were bikes and surfboards to rent. The staff also hooked us up with free coffee and donuts in the mornings. The neighborhood is amazing. SO much to see/do within walking distance, live music, the beach, great food and coffee and new eats like a vegan Jewish deli! Felt very California state of mind and just a perfect weekend getaway kinda place. Loved it and hope to return!
