Coming from Corona, I already had my gynecologist who had been so amazing throughout the years, she was practically family to me. So after moving to SD, I was reluctant to find a new gynecologist and made the trek to Corona still for my appointments over the years. It wasn't until I had to start my journey of a hysterectomy that I knew I had to have a doctor here. Dr. Islam was the first doctor I went to here in SD and she is the only doctor I will go to. Hands down an amazing woman! I miss my old gynecologist, but Dr. Islam has been if not better than any gynecologist I've ever been to. Her office staff is amazing, she takes time to explain, answer, and makes sure you are comfortable with everything during your appointment. She performed my total hysterectomy in Oktober - I wanted an abdominal through my already existing c section scar which was already super minimal. I did go back and forth on the idea of going through my tummy with 3 incisions v. C section entry and Dr. Islam never made me feel rushed or pressured me to go a certain route, the decision was entirely mine and she was nothing but supportive of whatever way to operate I chose. She explained thoroughly each of the ways she could go in and the risks and benefits of each. She genuinely listened to my personal fears, hesitations, and preferences. I am over 2 months post op - my scar looks wonderful, healing is wonderful, and Dr. Islam was so caring and attentive throughout this entire year of prep, operation, and post. I cannot be more thankful for a Doctor, woman, human being like her! She truly is a great asset to the medical community!!!

Dr Islam is absolutely amazing. She takes her time and always listens. She never rushes you in and rushes you out. She is very knowledgeable and quick thinking. She handled every part of my high risk pregnancy professionally and put my mind at ease. She was quick to act when my sons cord was wrapped around his neck twice. She is simply an amazing person and I highly recommend her.

I was nervous on picking a doctor to deliver my first baby and I was extremely blessed to find Dr. Islam! She is an AMAZING doctor and answered every single question my husband and I had. I always felt very safe and secure in her care. I trusted her every step of the way and is the nicest doctor ever. I will for sure be back for any lady business appointments and will definitely want her to deliver any future babies. Come here and make her your doctor! You won’t regret it!! Highly recommend :-)

Dr.Farina Islam is the absolute best! I moved from Los Angeles while being 7 months pregnant and was extremely nervous to meet a new Ob. Read very great reviews about this Office so I wanted to try it out . I First was introduced to Dr.Cobb which was awesome ! He is also great . Later on Dr.Farina took over and it was an unbelievable experience. My husband and I couldn’t be more greatful. I was very nervous to have my first child but she made sure to let me know that I was going to do great and guided me throughout all our visits . Every question I had she made sure was Answered and understood. I never once left my visits with wondering thoughts I was just so thankful to know she cared so much about my baby and my concerns. The delivery day came and I was super nervous and couldn’t believe that I was having my baby but deep inside I was at peace because I knew who I was trusting.
My baby was the most beautiful thing and I just can’t thank her enough for all her advice and for the beautiful baby she delivered. For all the woman’s out there I can’t recommend you a better doctor. She is out of this world . I had the most amazing experience and unforgettable .

I don’t even know where to start! Dr. Islam is incredibly talented! She is so personable, caring and friendly. She is knowledgeable and knows her industry! Dr. Islam takes her time with you and makes sure your questions are answered.

She is VBAC friendly and she also does gentle c sections :)

Seriously, she is the best Firth experience i had, out of all three of mine.
