  If you are considering moving here there are several positives. I have been here for many years. It is quiet at night, the location is great, the building is clean, new construction so you don't have to worry about common mold issues here in San Diego, the property manager is conscious and wonderful. The downsides are CONSTANT landscaping every single day with benzene gas blowers coming into your unit, which is carcinogenic and very dangerous for your health. It is literally the gas blower capital of the world, and believe me I am not exaggerating when I say this. If you work from home, this will be a constant disruption that will impact your business in a negative way. I have spoken to the property manager about this on numerous occasions and it remains unresolved unfortunately. They come at random times and there's no way to track what they do and when they come. It starts at 8:00 a.m. and can continue all the way through to the afternoon with no way of knowing when that toxic gas is going to blow right through your apartment. There has been progress where they will occasionally use an electric blower however it is very inconsistent. If you have any sort of Health sensitivities please consider this very carefully. There is also regular pesticide used here. Other than that it is a nice complex. Boutique feel, carport parking as opposed to underground and conscious people who live here. We all feed the hummingbirds!
  
  UPDATE: Management has recently resolved the constant landscaping issue and they are coming much less frequently. VERY GRATEFUL 🙏🦄💜

  Palma de la Reina is amazing! I have lived here 8 months now and I can't find anything to complain about! Candace in the leasing office is so pleasant and efficient, as are the rest of the staff. Everything in my apartment is high end and functions perfectly! The full size stackable washer and dryer is as good or better than the LG steam ones that I left behind when I moved. Maintenance requests are handled immediately and completely. This is luxury living at its best!

  As the electrical contractor who wired the project, I know first hand the love and care Richard Cavanaugh put into building these units. It has been his life mission to see this project finished. He and his two grandsons Michael and Caleb continue to run the day to day operations, all great people who strive to provide a great experience for their tenants. Their offices are on site and they very responsive to any problems, which would be few. Truly a great story of a local family improving their community in a grand scale.
  
  These are beautiful new apartments located at the entrance of Rancho Santa Fe, so great weather. They are conveniently located next to a new office, retail area, and golf course. Only a few minutes drive to the historic Rancho Sante Fe Village and all the amenities of the Del Mar area, yet tucked away in a peaceful location.
  
  A great advantage to a new project is being the first person to live in it. Imagine moving into a brand new unit within days of signing the lease without spending the million dollars this zip code demands for these sized and appointed homes.

  Palma de La Reina Apartment homes in Rancho Santa Fe are a rare and unique blend of luxury and comfort. The Builder Cavanaugh properties is a family-owned and operated company that embodies high-end professionalism. I am downsizing from a 3500 square-foot home to an 1100 square foot apartment home and I couldn't be more excited. The finishings are luxurious and the oversized front and back yard courtyards are a delight. Everyone I have met at Cavanaugh properties has been welcoming and accommodating. Can't wait to move into my new home on November 1st 2017!
