California Fish Grill

I liked my grilled Branzino and roasted corn. My wife found her salmon dry and rice undercooked. Nice atmosphere. Good service.

Thumbs up to the California Fish Grill. I usually head to the Fish District down the street, but decided to give this new place a go; I was pleased with my decision. On the most part, there are a few similar choices but they are prepared differently, and as we know it is the differences, that make a difference 😉. A highlight for me was the calamari appetizer, which offered breaded slices of calamari steak as opposed to the normal tubes and tentacles. The menu touted sea bass, salmon, catfish, rockfish, as well as chicken for those shying away from sea food, but potentially accompanying you. Recommended.

We went there yesterday after I had gone with a friend the week before. Me and my teenage children love seafood but have not been able to find any anywhere in a long long time! We had the fish and shrimp and fries and the clam chowder. 1. The tarter sauce was excellent taste a lot like Anthony’s fish grotto if any of you have been there. 2. The chowder perfection, not watery or fishy and the clams were not gummy. 3. The fish and shrimp were perfectly fried and flaky fish so yummy. 4. Lastly the fries love them! We will be back for more!

Dined in for dinner and I really liked the swai fish! It was cooked perfectly. I would definitely want to come here again for quality seafood.

Very fresh food, very affordable vs quality. We came we it was quite busy on a Friday night and the food quality didn't seem to suffer. Shrimp skewers cooked perfectly. We ordered take out but decided to just stay and eat at the courtyard out back. Would definitely come back to eat here.
