The Dempsey Center is a leader in Quality of Life Care. The Dempsey Challenge, presented by Amgen Oncology is an annual run, walk, cycle experience and is a major fundraiser for the Dempsey Center.
Patrick Dempsey founded the Dempsey Center in 2008 with the intention of giving back to the community where he grew up, and where his mother first received cancer treatment in 1997. Since 2009, Patrick has returned to Lewiston-Auburn every fall for the annual Dempsey Challenge.
The Dempsey Center is committed to making life better for people managing the impact of cancer. This includes cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and family members of all ages. The Dempsey Center is independent nonprofit organization and is not affiliated with any medical group.

The Dempsey Center offers a variety of services to support anyone impacted by ANY TYPE of cancer -- including patients, families and caregivers! The Dempsey Center offers specialized services, groups, support and community for youth through the Healing Tree programs.
