Our waiter was Italian and it was a great sign to see a bunch of old Italian guys having lunch here. Great food!

The name says it: the atmosphere is romantic, comfortable, soft and harmonious. It's that way because of the helpful, familial attitude of the staff and the physical surroundings, garden-like outside patio and softly-lit, warm, cozy inside. The food and service are tremendous. Our favorite restaurant in the San Diego area.

Reasonable prices for vary good Italuan dishes. The COVID situation is very lucky for them because they expanded into the street. On a warm La Jolla night, it's a very great place.

Had a great experience. Came before dinner rush on a Friday and was served promptly. The vibe was very cozy inside. We aren't big eaters so we decided to share an appetizer and an entree.
We got the carpacio di salmone and the linguine nere and both were delicious. I'm not too fond of arugula so I didn't enjoy that part as much, but the salmon is absolutely delicious. The pasta was the right amount of creamy and was a good portion for two! I kept saying yum the whole way through. They were kind enough to plate the pasta in two different plates for us.
