(December 26, 2018, 2:15 pm)Beautiful trail in the park. You get a wonderful and awesome view of the surrounding environment. Torrey Pines are scattered through out the trail. You'll mainly see them at the start and the northern part of the trail. There are two lookout points on the trail. Each lookout point provides great view of La Jolla, the Pacific Ocean, and the North County coast. This trail is awesome during spring when the wildflowers are in bloom.

(November 27, 2018, 11:07 pm)This is not a hike for the faint of heart. From the parking lot at beach level, to the entrance to the trail is 3/4 mile up a 20° degree incline. Once on the trail it is a great walk through the torrey pines that overlook fantastic views of the Pacific. If you are looking to kill a few hours and get some serious exercise and killer views, this is a great place to do it.
