Went here totally by accident. This spot has a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. The tide pools here are amazing. I came here and had an excellent, relaxing time. Was not over crowded, but there was a line at the gate when I was leaving. So I would suggest getting here earlier just to avoid the line at the gate. Would recommend for a romantic little date, some personal recelction time, and just a get away from the busy city of San Diego. Alll in all, worth it.
Great place to see sealife at low tide. Lots of helpful volunteers to tell you what things are. My kids loved it. Would definitely go again. Check for low tide time so you get there the right time of day.
Such a fun place to go. Make sure you check the tide pool report for the best optimal time. Definitely recommend closed-toed shoes or at least not flip-flops. Good for families. Best to go when the tide is going out not When the tide is coming up.
We love to explore the tide pools at low tide, real nice learning experience always & very beautiful. Bring safe shoes that you can get wet. Beautiful views from the cliffs. Educational & friendly staff. Visitor since 1999
