Radar Salon

I badly needed a haircut in time for my sister’s wedding, so I called Radar on a whim one evening and they were able to set me up with an appointment with Brooke within an hour. Brooke was awesome. She understood exactly what I wanted despite me being instructionally challenged where hair is concerned. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and Brooke did a fantastic job. I’ll definitely be back!

I scheduled a curly hair cut with Kris after reading such great reviews about her. First off, Kris is very attentive and personable. She’s a great conversationalist who knows how to sprinkle in educational tips about your curls while also chatting about anything and everything. I really appreciate that she let me ask a bunch of questions about how she was shampooing/cutting/styling/drying my hair. I left feeling pretty confident that I could recreate the salon looking even though I know I’ll never get it 100% right LOL! I would definitely go back as this was my first visit! The salon itself is super cute and they offer tea/coffee which is so fun, definitely felt cared for!

I went to see Tawney for highlights and boy did she did that! My cut from a previous salon was so choppy and my ends were extremely dry that she turned my hair into looking and feeling so healthy. She was so kind, sweet and funny. She even taught me how to properly care for my hair, and I definitely needed that! My hair is exactly what I wanted and more from the photos I showed Tawney! If you ever get the chance to do your hair in radar salon, definitely go see Tawney!! (She is taking hair models)

I've been getting my hair highlighted off and on for at least 10 years and Ha Vi has been by far my favorite colorist/stylist. She did such an amazing job. I was impressed by her level of detail and was excited to show-off what a great job she did. She gave me recommendations on products and schooled me on how to take care of my hair (which no else one's has ever done). Altogether I had the best experience and hope to keep this my forever salon.

This was my first time at Radar Salon in Mira Mesa, so I was a bit skeptical at first, but it turned out to be a pleasant experience ! Upon entering the salon I was greeted right away and offered a beverage of my choice. I felt noticed and excited.

I was then introduced to Ha Vie and she was very friendly. She was patient and answered all my questions about the proper hair care routine for my type of hair. She went through every step detail by detail as she was working on my haircut. I really appreciated that! The final result was exactly what I wanted, and my hair was layered perfectly for my dinner that night. I highly recommend this salon!
