Great Maple La Jolla UTC

Unbelievably delicious! Far exceeded the already-high expectations I had! We ordered the fried chicken and maple donuts, the BLT, and the silver dollar pancakes with fried banana. Everything was delectable! I rarely have a restaurant experience where every single dish is exactly or far above my expectations, and Great Maple did just that. I highly recommend sharing the chicken and donuts between two people (it is a HUGE serving!). I think their donuts may be the best that I have ever tried! Great Maple is expensive, but absolutely worth the cost! Their quality and their prices match perfectly. This is definitely one of the best restaurants I have tried, and will definitely be returning. If you are in the area, do not skip this restaurant!!

Been really meaning to try out this place and I have to say food is outstanding. I enjoyed the texture of the french toast logs. It was sweet and fluffy. Blueberries and bacon really compliment the taste and give it a homemade feel to it. As well as the homemade orange juice. If the french toast was this good, I can only imagine what other menu items could taste like.

I had the Brisket Hash and was blown away by the taste. There’s just no flaw with the dish. They nailed the cook on the potatoes. The poached egg was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Oozing yolk just falls all over the plate. The brisket also nailed. Tears apart releasing flavor with every bite. I just wish I had more room to finish it.

Update: I tasted the Fried Chicken and Donuts. No surprise that the dish was absolutely phenomenal. Texture of the chicken was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Combined with the sweetness of the donut was bursting with flavor. The perfect balance between sweet and savory.

Very good food in abundant proportions. Interesting tasty drinks. Attentive staff.

Waiting line, so recommend reservations for popular times of the day. Easy access, lots of parking.
