  We are so happy with Marie’s work at Modern Flamingo. Her workmanship and quality are superb. Communication was excellent. Our project was completed very quickly. We most highly recommend Modern Flamingo.

  Marie did such an amazing job on a shelf piece for me and she had it done in one day! I will be coming back with any future restoration needs! Sit you want it done right, bring your family heirlooms to her!

  My knock-off Eames chair, a "Mr. Chair", purchased in about 1970, has been lovingly restored and is now looking so beautiful, ready for service for the rest of my life! Every little detail, from matching screws that had been replaced over the years, fixing the mechanism inside and replaced split and bent washers between the major rod - gone will be the noise of a very aging chair with fresh internal supports. The wood is now so beautiful, rich looking, just as it was in 1970; signs of age, gone! It is gleaming and new looking. The most amazing touch was filling in of where bits and pieces of the ply were gone, now filled with a wood filler hand-painted to look just like the grain of the original! Extraordinary work!

  I reached out to Marie for some information on restoring a couple pieces of MCM furniture. Her response time was amazing and she was very honest about how I could do what was needed to do on my own instead of spending the money to have her do the restoration. I can't wait to see her showroom and hopefully pick up some new pieces!

  I had such a great experience with Marie from start to finish. She was communicative right from the start with scheduling and providing rates. I was thoroughly impressed when she contacted me with photos to confirm finish to ensure I would be happy with the results and my expectations were met. (I had previous restoration work done elsewhere and they made assumptions on stain and finish resulting in disappointment 👎🏼)
  I was beyond happy with the final results when I picked up.
  Marie did an amazing job and is a kind and highly skilled refinisher.
  Look forward to more projects together in the future!
