  Great food and service. Best produce in the area with great prices. Nice and clean Sprouts with friendly staff, but small selection. Well stocked, easy access. It's a small market concept with lots of fresh fruit, veggies, meats and cheeses. Competitive pricing on many items and good quality food. Remember to bring a bag or expect to pay for a reusable one. My wife and I shop at Sprout's quite often whether it be this one or the store in Encinitas. The staff are always friendly and we are usually happy with the quality of everything we buy. I love Sprouts. Always good produce at a fair price and all the hippie stuff you could want. Don't forget to bring your own bag!

  The store is clean, the staff is friendly and the prices are very good. So why only 4 stars? On two occasions I've gone in looking for a specific health food. Once it was just tofu. I asked the guy stocking the nearby shelves and he had no idea. It turns out the tofu was directly next to him. Another time I was looking for kefir grains. I asked the guy stocking produce and he had no idea what I was even talking about. (They don't carry kefir grains, evidently) These are pretty standard health food items, so even if the store doesn't carry them, I'd expect the staff to know what I'm talking about. Also, the selection is limited. It's not a big store.

  The store is rather small, yet I spent over half an hour finding my $98 worth of groceries. This feels like an older store on the inside and I was unimpressed with my staff observations and interactions.
  
  On the plus side, when I was strolling over towards the deli Silvana greeted me, came out from behind the counter, and asked if she could help me then gave me some personal recommendations and customer favorites. David then found me to give me an update to a question I had asked earlier, and finally Timothy had me laughing at the register with his lighthearted food jokes.

  Excellent selection of fruits and vegetables in season including organics. Great deli and bakery section. Large selection of hard to find supplements.

  My favorite grocery store in North County! Plus they got the fresh bread out early.
