(August 4, 2019, 2:25 am)When I come town for an annual visit with l long time friends in El Cajon, I make it a point to visit the charming A-frame hillltop church in Spring Valley. I find the coffee hour before the Sunday Service convivial, warm and welcoming. Even when people didnt know me yet they treated me likes special guest and now it's like coming home. I dare say like a cozy cheerful pub with no need for the alcohol. The services in the sanctuary include some traditional harmonizable hymns that are deep with meaning and moving, while the choral music and large pipe organ are ienergetic and inspiring. The prayer request part of the service is bathed in love and yes there are answers with joy and celebration. I always walk out with more than I brought in and hope to return for many more years.
