When in need of either a rebuild or a new trans to replace my 68rfe I called many places inquiring many things. Also while doing research on the 68rfe. I went ahead and started sourcing parts to make it a DIY project from home. Ended up Calling Nextgen and had a great conversation with Nate. Coming from a heavy career in motorsports and engine building as well as CNC machining...Nate told me everything I wanted to hear.
I'm running Nextgens Valve body, pump and a 2 disc billet converter. Parts came in earlier than expected and man were they beautiful parts. Returned cores and core charge was returned as agreed. I waited a little bit to do this review as I wanted to see the transmissions functions and stack some miles on. I've got 3,000 miles on everything now. Drove loaded with 20k pounds through the Appalachians with no skip to the beat. Now time for a fluid exchange and to keep trucking.

Purchased the 6R140 Project Carbon Valve Body w/ New OEM Electronics for my 2012 F250 Powerstroke. Very pleased with the results, transmission is more responsive and no more hard shifts. Nate at NexGen was always quick to respond and very knowledgeable and courteous. I' would highly recommend and def use them again.

Highly recommend Next Gen Diesel. I had a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 with 245000 miles and a worn out 68RFE transmission. My son is an automotive tech and he found this shop for me. Called Nate and he was very helpful in explaining the issues and how their design, with the extreme towing upgrades would solve all the problems I had. With a short time suspense, I ordered it, but timing didn’t allow me to come from Colorado to San Diego, and I had to leave on a trip before I could get it. Nate said he could ship it anywhere in the lower 48 states for the already agreed on price if I had a problem. I left for Indiana and of course, had problems. Nate and Zach got the transmission to me and I found a shop to put it in. Long story short, that shop over torqued the valve body and made the transmission unusable. Called Nate and he said just get it to us and we will take care of it. With old transmission back in, we made it to San Diego and in two days, Nate at Next Gen Diesel and Bryce at Miramar Transmission had the problem solved and the new one in. Works perfectly. I really appreciate how Nate made us the priority and got things done. Should have taken my truck to him in the first place. Five star treatment.

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 68RE transmission. Long story short, my transmission gave out on me on a Friday and this truck is currently my only vehicle. After doing some searching, I found Next Gen Diesel. I checked out their website and was quite impressed with the layout, ease of navigation, and amount of information that was provided on the website. I gave them a call and was connected with Nate. We talked a bit about the issues I was having, what was done to my truck, how I drive it, what I use it for, and what my plans were for the future so that Nate could help me pick the transmission that was best for me. He even explained to me the most common causes of failure with my transmission and what Next Gen Diesel does to fix these issues. Nate was super flexible with drop off of my truck and even told me when it would be done. I ended up with the SuperStock transmission with the Formula One triple disk torque converter with a low stall speed and I am blown away by the performance! My truck now shifts much faster, more crisp, and is much more predictable. Throughout the whole process, Nate kept me up to date on what stage my truck was in and even kept his word on when it would be finished and ready for pickup! I would highly recommend Nate and Next Gen Diesel to anybody that needs their transmission fixed up or anybody looking to upgrade as they have a ton of options for various power levels!

I have a 2019 Ram 2500 with a 6 in lift on 37's, and tuned. I was worried that the factory 68RFE Transmission valve body would not last with my setup. After extensive research I called Next Gen and spoke to Nate. Shortly after talking to him, I bought the F1 Valve Body and his Deep Transmission Pan. from Next Gen. When it arrived we had some challenges with the valve body. My mechanic and I called Nate about 15 time's and he answered evetime and was very patient. Nate did an outstanding job with his customer service and helped us out to the end. Once the Valve Body was installed the truck ran perfect!! My truck shifts so much smoother and more crisp! The trans temp has dropped from 190 to the mid 160's. I couldn't any more happy with the product, the performance, and the customer service of Next Gen! Thanks guys!!
