Kim is a literal angel on earth. We feel so blessed to have cross paths with her. She was supportive and kind throughout my entire pregnancy. I was two weeks late and the doctor started pushing me very hard for an induction using scare tactics. Kim was there to hold my hand the entire time and really was my peace. I’m convinced that we would not have been able to have a natural birth without her. She stayed by my side the entire time in the hospital and seem to know exactly what to say and do. We got the natural birth we so desperately wanted and I’m convinced that it would not have happened had she not been there. Her experience really shows. We love Kim so much and cannot recommend her highly enough

My husband and I selected Kim as our Doula after seeing her amazing experience and interviewing her on the phone. We are beyond happy we chose her!! I feel any family would highly benefit from her knowledge but most importantly her genuine love and support that helped bring us confidence in our birth plan and comfort during times that went astray.

She came fully prepared to our house for two prenatal visits with visuals and items to go hands on. She listened intently to me talk about my desires and fears and ignited questions I hadn’t even posed to myself. The day we delivered (via unplanned induction due to HELLP syndrome) she was at the ready and extremely flexible waiting for us to give the word when we wanted her to come to the hospital. I progressed from a 5 to a 10 in a short matter of time. Frantically we had to call her to come in, and she was literally there in 50 minutes (that’s how far she lives from my hospital). She made it in perfect timing and jumped right in ready to help me deliver. I honestly don’t even remember my nurse being around or talking to me the whole time I was pushing because Kim was right there and had everything under control. The doctors were listening to her and she commanded the room with grace and expertise. I was a little worried about my husband during push time (fear of him passing out, or being overwhelmed, not knowing how to help me) but he was beautifully directed by Kim. He was able to follow her lead and he stepped right up to the plate and did great! At one point, when my pain was so intense, all I remember is Kim stroking my temple region and her soft sweet voice calming me down. I will never forget that moment!

We are awaiting our postnatal visits with her, but I knew I didn’t need to wait to write my review. Being a nurse myself, I can say Kim comes highly recommended!

I am forever grateful for Kim. She was the best doula a girl could ask for! I connected with Kim pretty late since I really started buckling down the last few months of my pregnancy with VBAC research and all the tools that would help me have a successful one. Prior to labor, she came over a few times to get to know us and show me some important exercises. Any worries I had, she had information on how to overcome them. I was past my due date (with GDM) and she helped me stay focused on my VBAC goals and recommended possible ways to naturally induce labor. There were many times when doctors insisted on c-section and induction. Kim never told me what to do, but always supported and guided me without overstepping any boundaries. She was with me for the majority of my 30 hr labor. She was there when I was in agonizing contractions and helped me and my husband work through them until I got my epidural. She did go home for a bit (I really insisted) when I was only 4cm dilated and it was 1am. She came back later when I was 6cm to help me do exercises and stayed with me until I delivered my baby…which was a long time! I was very slow to progress! I thought I would be annoyed having a stranger with me for so long, but it wasn’t like that at all. We talked as if we were long time friends. I can’t imagine getting through this experience without her. Honestly, everything that comes out of her mouth is pleasant because she has a nice English accent. I highly recommend her and if I ever have anymore babies, I would hire her again in a heartbeat.
