I absolutely love this community. I've lived here for almost 5 years with no issues. Thank you Shadowridge Woodbend Staff for all you do. Your efforts definitely don't go unnoticed.

The apartment we got was big and homey, but it did have little things wrong with it. The fridge base would slid off and the sliding door to the patio would always come off the base. The community itself is beautiful and very walkable! I had a fine time applying for the place and the management even pushed for our application when we initially didn't qualify. Also for parking, ITS EASY!! If you have a parking pass for unreserved that basically means you can park anywhere that is not covered by a roof. I don't understand why many said it was hard, but maybe there were improvements made throughout the years.

Claimed as luxury apartments. Two bedroom double Masters with washer and dryer included. Very nice, responsive staff, easy to work with. Multiple management companies in the last several years. Landscaping services have taken a downturn in the last year or so. Pool area is nice!

We've been living here for 10 months and we generally like it. Is it flawless? No, but I can't think of any place that is, so I will say it is relatively good.

We moved here from out of state with no problems. It was more or less what we were expecting. I will just fast forward to what we like and what we don't like.

    What we like:

    1) The leasing office staff and managers are very friendly. I have seen reviews that say the opposite, but we deal with them regularly, and they are always friendly and helpful.

    2) The maintenance folks are very friendly and are quick to respond to the minor complaints we had.

    3) It's not expensive to live here, but it looks more expensive than it is.

    4) It is quiet and peaceful. Neighbors pretend they don't see you, which I think is rude, but it's better than having too much noise.

    5) The location is great.

    What we don't like:

The bathroom is in the bedroom, so it can be awkward if you have someone over -- they have to enter your bedroom just to use the bathroom.

The bedroom doesn't have any light source -- you have to buy your own lamps or keep the bathroom lights on (which won't be enough for the room).

The living room only has lights on one part of the room -- the part closest to the kitchen, which also has lights. The other part doesn't have any lights, so again, you would need to buy lamps for those parts.

The parking is complicated. They gave us two parking passes: one permanent spot, and another to park anywhere else on the lot. The problem is if you have guests who want to park their cars, it is a hassle to get a guest pass and the decision to invite them over needs to be made before the leasing office closes, which isn't always convenient. We don't have a lot of people come over, so it's not a big deal for us. But if you tend to host parties, this would be a pain for you because of so many guest passes, without which your guests will be towed.

Also, on weekends, people tend to just come from who knows where to use the basketball courts -- taking up a lot of parking spots that should be used by residents.

The gym only has one working treadmill, to be shared by hundreds of residents.

Overall, we like the place. Yes there are some problems, but they are not major. I see a lot of complaints about getting ripped off after move-out. I will have to adjust my review if this happens to us.
