My husband and I have been attending Canvas since 2017. We love Canvas because of their focus on social justice and making a tangible impact in the community. Pastor Travis was preaching about Black Lives Matter before the national reckoning in 2020. Each sermon makes me laugh and then nearly brings me to tears. Everyone is friendly, and we've met some great friends through our Rooted Group. We now live in Marin, but we still make the drive to church on Sunday. Canvas is the real deal!
Best worship in SF. God is everywhere.
This is hands down the best church I've been to. They are so rooted in community and making sure like you feel like you belong from the start. There is absolutely no judgement as everyone just wants to support you on your journey with God. On top of that, they come together to give back to the community, so they really walk the walk when it comes to being a Christian. I can't say enough good things about Travis and Jenna either. Plus, they have amazing coffee and donuts :)
