Jeffrey Yu is fantastic as a personal trainer, and I have worked with several over the years. By way of a great review, check out my first review from three years ago, below.
Over the last three and a half years, he has been 100% supportive and has moved me further and further along in my fitness. During periods when I was not in top form, he adjusted the workouts to suit the situation and we rebuilt my strength, endurance, and flexibility.
His reliable knowledge, skill, and enthusiasm are a perfect fit for anyone looking to improve their fitness.

I have worked with great personal trainers before and Jeffrey Yu is top notch. He is tremendously knowledgeable and professional.
You will need to put in the work and follow his recommendations. The result are completely worth the effort. I am nearly 50 years old and am thrilled with how my health has improved.
In 5 months I have lost 15 pounds and 3 inches off my waist. I am stronger and running better than I have in the last four years. Just ran my first 5k this last weekend and I am on track to meet or beat the Military Army Physical Fitness Standards next month. Not visible, but probably the most valuable change is that my resting heart rate is 10 beats a minute slower than when I began working out with Jeffrey. A slower resting heart rate is a measure of good fitness and protective against future cardiovascular disease. (Individual's mileage may vary, of course.)
I highly recommend Jeffrey Yu to everyone who is interested and easy to take care of their physical fitness.
Jeffrey Yu is an excellent trainer! I am a mom in my 40's and just started getting back in shape. I was never a gym type of girl and definitely not a lifting weights type but Jeffrey's knowledge and expertise are outstanding. He is very good at explaining, emphasizing good form. He created a very thoughtful training plan to help with my goals. Great results! I highly recommend him!
I have been training with Jeffrey for 2+ years now so this review is long overdue! Jeffrey knows a ton about exercise and nutrition and he really tailors his workouts to each individual with their specific goals in mind. I have seen a lot of trainers who apply a blanket approach to their clients' workouts (just sort of going through the motions) - not really considering that each individual has varying physical abilities, drive and goals. One size does not fit all when it comes to health and fitness and Jeffrey really understands and applies this concept. He also adjusts our workouts as my fitness goals change.
He is knowledgeable, patient, attentive, consistent and also a really nice person.
