I love Dollar Tree. With the economy, I've started visiting more often. Yes, they've raised prices to $1.25 but you can still find the best deals on alot of everyday things that you need without guilt. I've never really checked out the grocery section but I probably should.

We visited this store for a few items and to shop around. We don't generally shop here but occasionally like to look around.. We walked in and Valentine's balloons were abundant and lots to choose from for your sweetheart!

At the time of my visit the store was a mess. Complete and utter mess! Boxes everywhere and new items being put on shelves.

Then we ran into Mrs. Mollie, an employee there trying to quell the storm. Mollie was working her tail off to get things in order and unpacked. Mrs. Mollie explained to us that the store has been selected as a dollar tree plus, meaning more higher end products above the $1 range.

With sweat running on her forehead Mrs. Mollie was apologetic about the mess and offered an explanation without my asking. She buzzed around the store like a bee in a flower garden before getting called to the front to help as a cashier. Overall we can say that we were impressed by her work ethic, happy, bubbly personality, and overall kindness that she displayed.

Then we went to check out.......

We got into her line because it was shorter. The persons in front of us were Hispanic and we got another surprise! Mrs. Mollie also is bilingual and speaks Spanish.... WOW.

All I can say is you go girl! I wish all employees were just like you.

I decided to run into Dollar Tree to pick up some pens and pencil for my daughter for school. It was a little busy, but nothing to stress over. The young lady that was cashier was amazing! Her name is Allie! I made sure to pay attention. She seemed kind of quiet, but I being my self started talking and she opened up. She rang up 5 people before me, and each person she asked would the like to purchase a school supply. None of the customers offered, and you could tell she was a let down buy it. I had already decided I was going to purchase at least 2 because I have been there before. Every a little thing helps! She asked me the question and I gladly said 2. She smiled and keep chatting with me. I can definitely say she made my 5 minute dollar trip worth it. I hope she knows that she is great!!!!
