  The serving of their food is very substantial, and it is very cheap, given its size. Also, the staff are very attentive. Ordering and getting the bill is relatively faster than in other restaurants despite the place being always jampacked with people. They say their serving time is 30minutes, but they usually serve your food faster than that! I strongly recommend this restaurant.

  Delancey Street foundation supports and empowers local community. I appreciate their mission in training youth from disadvantaged communities for career in food business. The restaurant and the associated coffee shop are training grounds for these trainees, and provide above-and-beyond service in terms of both food and hospitality. The prices are very reasonable for a place just by the SF waterfront. The desserts were great too. Please support the foundation and this restaurant.

  Restaurant that is run by the residents of Delancey Street, same organization that runs the cafe around the corner. The mission of the organization and the restaurant is phenomenal, with the goal of helping people back on their feet. The food is tasty, the service is good. It was pretty quiet when we went, and their servers were very responsive. Food was well cooked too! I would definitely go back in the future!

  The value that this place place offers considering its location is incredible. The menu itself has a pretty good variety of food, and they have a decent beer menu as well. The food itself was pretty good, not amazing but impressive enough considering the price and the unique mission of this place. Service is obviously going to vary quite a bit due to what they are trying to do here for these folks. Our waiter was new and struggled a bit, but as long as you are patient and realize the good cause they are doing here, you can't go wrong giving this place a shot.
