Staff was very polite and professional. We arrived before 8:30am and answered a questionare and briefly met with the vet. The base costs were the same as quoted but there were additional fees. $75 for blood test (optional)plus $30-50 for pain medication and cone. Very reasonable in my opinion. Male dogs are operated on early so I was able to pick up around noon. Met with vet tech and discussed post operation procedures. The main problem was the dog wearing the cone. I would do some research before. One star off for not fully making folks aware of the additional costs but still highly recommend.
Great experience! Staff was very kind and helpful. We met briefly with the vet prior to the neuter as we have a French Bulldog. The doctor was very nice and explained all the potential issues that could arise because of his flat face. Thankfully everything went perfectly and our dog had no issues. Procedure was done quickly and we were called shortly after it was done to confirm everything was fine. I definitely will be coming here for all additional spay or neuter procedures. Just booked our dental for another dog based on this experience, and the very affordable pricing offered by this clinic.
I came across The Pet Advocate by chance. I was shopping around for price to spayed my puppy. I called The Pet Advocate to know the price (very cheap place for neuter and spay) and book the appointment within 3 weeks. The staffs are very nice and professional. Within that 3 weeks I received multiple reminders about the appointments and instructions which I don't mind at all because I know they want to make sure you will keep the appointment or reschedule in time without cancellation penalty fee if you cancel less than certain time. Also, they want to offer the time to another patient who wants to come in. The day of the procedure is was smooth sailing. My puppy is now fully recovered from the procedure and very active. The incision site heal beautifully. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a place to neuter or spay their puppy. I also recommend to get your puppy nail clip during that time because my puppy scratched herself a lot after.
The Pet Advocate was definitely the best choice for spaying our baby Daisy, our 8 month schnauzer. Everyone was very nice, and super professional and sympathetic. They walked us through every step pre and post procedure and answered all my questions, not to mention that their prices are super affordable. It's obvious that their main priority is the care and well being of our pets. By the 3rd day our little Daisy was back to her playful, lovable self.
Brought my girl out for her to be spayed. This place was recommended to me. I was given a quote over the phone. Our appointment was a few months away.
When the appointment came and checked in I was told a different price. I would give a better review but I feel clients should know if the price will change because a dog grows.
So from $256. I ended up paying $450..
Big difference.
Staff was mediocre some pleasant and counter help were rude and not very friendly.
Be aware if you puppy grows you will get a different price at time of appointment.
Never met a vet so I don't think I will bring another pet.
Otherwise you get what you're paying for.
