  One of the best views in California and the service was amazing. But as far as the room goes the bed was really hard, the pillows were not great and the shower door didn't close all the way.
  The personal touches and notes and service were top notch but the actual room could use some work.

  Public access to the Coastal Trail is through the Ritz-Carlton property with free parking in their garage (if there are spots left). We got lucky and drove up as someone was leaving. Felt like royalty and knew our vehicle was safe there. Beautiful walk with overlooks and beach access along the rugged coast. Just watch out for the golf carts along the path as you are also walking through two championship golf courses. Parking is very limited so it's probably a matter of timing unless you are a R-C guest.

  The Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay was truly stunning. While a remarkable hotel from the outside and golf course, the inside was not too flashy, and was more sophisticated, neat, while maintaining that 5 star hotel feel through simple perfection. We had drinks at the bar out looking the bay and it was amazing! Also the outdoor patio and bar area with fireplaces and tables looked very inviting for an evening drink or night with friends. And of course all of the staff was super friendly and very accommodating.

  Very beautiful and relaxing place. Some of the furniture is starting to show its wear, so for the expense of the resort you would expect them not to be stained and saggy. Beds seemed very comfortable. Nice to see an outside bar with fresh seafood that can be ordered. Average spa in my opinion. Enjoyed the treatment however the masseuse was rather grumpy. I was so happy to be visiting friends for the weekend I decided not make an issue of her dark attitude, at least the message was good.

  We went and had Thanksgiving dinner here at the Ritz-Carlton. The views are absolutely stunning! The golf course is right outside of the hotel and it is all ocean side. The view of the ocean is breathtaking. The only thing that is better than that, is the food we were served in "The Conservatory" Restaurant. There are no words in any language that could describe how absolutely delicious the pumpkin soup was!!!!....The entire dinner was Scrumptious!!!. We truly enjoyed ourselves!
