  Great view in a hidden corner of the coast. Prawn cocktail and whole crab were delicious. Garlic bread is lethal and delicious. Service was friendly prompt and good. I'll be back again to try the famous crab sandwich and have a drink at the large throwback bar that reminds me of an upscale Denny's Lounge.

  We haven't actually eaten at Nick's yet. We were hiking in the area and stopped in to use the bathroom. While I was waiting I looked in on the kitchen. I saw line cooks finishing what I later found out to be a specialty of the house, a crab sandwich. It looked outrageously tasty! We looked at the menu and we saw a few things that we definitely will be back to try, including the whole cracked crab, a market price item which I recall was 32 or 35 dollars for a whole crab. Considering the current conditions that seemed quite reasonable. We found out that Nick's has been in business since the earth was young and admittedly the decor reflects that. The dining area is well maintained but it looks quite dated even to our Boomer tastes. We walked through the busy dining area admiring the dishes and observing that the customers were clearly enjoying themselves.
  
  As an added bonus, Nick's has live music and a dance floor on Friday and Saturday evenings. We're eager to return and try the food and enjoy the music.

  Nick's is great I cannot be in the area and not stop and stay at Nick's. It's just a great spot but hope you're not afraid of the Waves hitting the shore. I love meals are excellent and very tasty and nicely prepared and moderately priced for the market. You will really enjoy your visits and stays. Every time I'm driving down highway 1 I make a point to make it to Nick's. Regardless.

  My favorite restaurant and I am a senior who dines out several times a week. Their crab sandwich is beyond compare and delicious salads. Great bar and the manager Erica is very accommodating and a very sweet, capable, kind young lady. She makes sure you get the very best service. The drinks are great as well. The only downside is it is such a popular place there is a very long wait on weekends. They have entertainment on the weekends and we have heard some wonderful musicians which I have really enjoyed. Plenty of parking and if you have a special sportscar (as we do) there are places to park where no one can park near it. Peace of mind while eating is a great thing to me. If you want a fun night out with food that is amazing try Nick's...you won't regret it!????
