(October 2, 2022, 8:10 pm)Beautiful park, the Ranger at the pay booth was very cool and fun she takes allot of pride keeping the place clean and litter free. Restroom was clean and there is picnic tables and BBQ pits. Easy access to the beach front. Caught my PB 26in. Bass Striper and some small perch. Had a cookout before we headed out it was an awesome day!!

(June 30, 2022, 2:41 am)Possibly worth the longer drive, Pomponio has a good amount of parking (costs $8), very unpleasant septic bathrooms, and a very long, very beautiful beach. It remained a bit cloudy throughout the summer day, but it was generally very nice, not too windy, and had lots of space to spread out on the soft, sand beach. There were some interesting caves and pockets with low tide, and even some small tide pools with anenomies. We had a pleasant partial day here, but it might be too far for what it's worth if you're driving from the inland Bay Area.
