Always Quilting

  If my photos get posted, they were part of a beautiful crazy quilt made by my friend and instructor, Ellen R., at Always Quilting quilt shop. Parking is almost non existent and the shop is hard to get to as there are steep stairs or a long, steep wheelchair ramp. However, once inside it's a veritable fairyland of colorful quilts a n fabrics to make them. Also in residence are knowledgeable women who give instruction in the quilting arts. Available is the use of the long arm quilter, for a fee or they will quilt for yue for a fee. Patterns galore to whet the appetite for hand stitching arts as well as quilts.

  Heather and her staff are the bomb. They helped us select the right quality fabric for our project and helped us every step of the way. I spent more than I thought i would, but I am SO GLAD we trusted her and bough the better fabric. Now 4 years later the couches and seating still look fantastic.

  This is an amazing shop. The fabrics are high quality and the staff is most helpful.

  You will find a wide variety of projects and fabrics. They rent time on their longarm machines for a reasonable cost. You must take their excellent longarm class first. The staff is friendly and helpful. A great resource for quilt classes and supplies.

  The fabric selection is excellent, as is their stock of quilting notions and thread, but it's the staff that makes Always Quilting such amazing place to shop. I've been in many times and they always go above and beyond. They're attentive but never make me feel rushed. The cuts are generous and square. They've scoured the store to find the exact color I needed, helped me match fabrics, given me advice on technique, and have done a great job quilting my tops. Can't say enough good things!
