(March 17, 2019, 1:02 pm)SOOOOO PRETTY. Loved the animals. Perfect place to take pictures. It's STUNNING. We took the loop trail took about 2 hours and it was amazing. Also the animals are ADORABLE. Perfect place for little kids, teens, and adults.

(March 16, 2019, 7:13 pm)Great Trails! Some of the trails pass along the streams, quite peaceful. Some trails are suitable for the cycling. There are some steep slopes which are good for a challenging hike. It is also good for children, there is an open meadow where children and dogs can play openly. Plenty of parking available, also restrooms at various places. I would recommend to go even on weekends.

(March 7, 2019, 10:20 am)This is a great place to hike, bike or run trails. There are trails for every level. Plenty of parking spots with three parking lots. Water fountains are at the Equestrian Parking Lot and the main parking lot at the bottom of the entrance road. It opens earliest in the Summer at 5:30 am depending on the month. It closes at Sunset. My favorite trails are Coyote Trail, Upper Wildcat Loop, Black Mountain Trail, High Meadow Trail and Stephen Arbors Trail which most locals know as PG & E Trail.

(March 3, 2019, 8:38 am)This is a beautiful place for hikes, picnics, runs, bike rides with family and friends, weekends and weekdays. Hide up to Vista Point from the many trails options, and see a great view of the valley. Even SF and Oakland are visible on a clear day. You can see deer, squirrels, lizards, rabbits, snakes, turkeys, and bluejays. Bobcats and mountain lions have also been sighted. The farm is great-pigs, goats, cows, herbs, flowers. This place is on my favorites list. Parking can be hard but with patience, you can get a space.

Plenty of parking (although it can be quite tough to find parking during peak park hours), free entry, some really good hikes. This preserve has something to offer for all. Deer hollow farm and small hikes for the young ones. PG&E and black mountain for anyone looking for a longer hike. High meadow Vista point hike if you want a quick hike for the day. Almost always spot deer and turkey on the trails when we hike here.
