  All the nurses and doctors here are nice and calming professionals.
  
  Woo hoo! Had my second cataract surgery on my right eye by Dr. Beers. (He didn't look drunk with beers, ha ha)
  The only pain was one second Sting from a couple of eye drops and 4 seconds of pressure on my eyeballs during surgery. Other than that I didn't feel any pain nor discomfort. They applied numbing eye drops, antiseptic and pressure reducing eye drops.
  
  I refused their offer of Valium to calm my nerves. I was already calm by praying - which helped lower my heartbeat to 55 per minute and my blood pressure was 113/79. I asked for minimum sedation as I was already sleepy due to fact that I only slept 6 hours the night before and had to wake up at 6:00 am to go to the operating room at 6.45am.
  
  Ps. It helps that I am one of their rare patients that is on no medication as I have no illness nor modern diseases- thanks to my over 35 years of vegetarian/vegan diet and following Seventh-day Adventist health lifestyle.

  Have had cataract surgery on both eyes within a week by the awesome Dr. Yang...the staff at this center is way beyond great...cannot say enough the way I was treated AND the most successful result...seeing better than I have did...thank you all...associated with the center...feeling so blessed..

  When my ophthalmologist, Dr Yang, told me to meet him at the Peninsula Eye surgery Center to have a laser procedure performed to reduce the excessive pressure in one of my eyes, I was concerned and frankly nervous about going to the appointment. Once I got to the Peninsula Eye surgery Center and noted how impressive the facility and the staff were, I was much relieved. When Dr. Yang took the time to answer all of my questions, I felt very calm and comfortable and no longer had any concerns. The procedure was quickly and successfully performed and I returned home without any types of after effects. I won't ever worry about go to the eye surgery center again, because everyone there seems extremely competent and Dr. Yang clearly knows what he is doing. Dr. Yang also has a great sense of humor. I loved his comments when he explained my situation and potential response in "context" with other patient's situations and responses. Thank you Dr. Yang for helping me see the humor in my situation.
